Saving Personal Barracuda Block and Allow Lists

(question)  Should you have any questions or concerns with the instructions, please notify the Technology Service Center for assistance. 

Step 2

Enter your HCC Login ID for the username (example: jsmith1234) and enter the password that you set in Password Services. Then click "Sign In".

Step 3

Once you are in your Barracuda console, click the "Preferences" tab and then click the "Allow List/Block List" button. 

Step 4

To export and save your allow list, click on the "Bulk Edit" button located under the "Allowed Email Addresses and Domains (Allow List)".

Step 5

Highlight and copy all of the email addresses, open Notepad and paste them into a new text file. Save that file as AllowList.txt in any folder you choose.

Take a few minutes to clean up and update your Allow and Block lists to keep Outlook running smoothly.

Step 6

To export and save your block list, click on the "Bulk Edit" button located under the "Blocked Email Addresses and Domains (Block List)".

Open Outlook and select either this icon this icon and select the "Junk E-mail Options" from the drop down menu.

Step 9

If a pop up box appears, check the box and then select "OK".

Step 10

Go to the Safe Senders tab and click on the "Import from File" box.

Step 11

Go to where you saved the AllowList.txt file and select that file name. Open the file and you should see your list of email addresses populated in the Safe Senders box.

Select "Apply" and than "OK".

Step 12

Go to the Blocked Senders tab and click on the "Import from File" box.

Step 13

Go to where you saved the BlockList.txt file and select that file name. Open the file and you should see your list of email addresses populated in the Blocked Senders box.

Select "Apply" and than "OK".
